Auckland Peace Forum records.
Includes minutes, correspondence, administrative records, and a survey of peace groups. The records cover a period from about 1984 to 1989. Because of the nature of the Forum, its records are not particularly organised, and the minutes and correspondence include other records such as duplicates, newsletters, clippings, and publicity material.

The collection includes newsletters, pamphlets and documents from a range of organisations including; HART, Auckland Council for Civil Liberties, Committee on Vietnam (Wellington, N.Z.), National Anti-Apartheid Council, New Zealand Race Relations Council, New Zealand Christian Pacifist Society, as well as papers circulated by the third Labour Government.
Herbert Thatcher papers
Papers include correspondence relating to Herbert Thatcher's non- payment of the General Unemployment Levy, 1932-1935; New Zealand Timber Workers' Union records; reminiscences of Mount Eden Prison; eight volumes of newspaper clippings; letters from Lincoln Efford; and 1943 election ephemera and letters to Thatcher concerning pacifism and social reform.
Hiroshima Day Committee for Peace (Auckland) records.
A collection of leaflets, notices of meetings, posters and photographs of marches. Includes minutes, handwritten and in typescript, from 1967-1970; and four slides used in Auckland cinemas to advertise a Hiroshima Day march in 1968.
Ken Tuxford subject files.
Leaflets, booklets, newsletters, clippings, and some correspondence relating to the work of the New Zealand Peace Council, anti-apartheid organisations such as HART and CARE, and anti-Vietnam War organisations. The material was arranged by organisation and housed in labelled vertical files. Two taped interviews with Mr Tuxford are at MSS & Archives 97/12, items 5.4 and 5.5.
